4Efficiency Services BV (4EF for short) was founded in 2006 by Peter Harink. He wanted to continue applying the experience he had gained until then via his own company. Mark Peters joined 4EF in 2009, and Cor Verbaas followed in 2012. The three of them are joint owners and run the business. Ten employees in total work at 4EF.

We love manufacturing businesses!

Since its foundation, 4EF has always preferred to work for manufacturing companies. They now have between 50 and 60 clients and 4EF works with 50% of these on a structural basis. A job often arises from a need to automate and update processes such as scheduling, time tracking, production registration and price calculations from Excel or even paper. These often well-intentioned but error-prone and time-consuming processes can easily be replaced by user-friendly ERP-integrated bespoke solutions. 4Efficiency has developed many practical, efficient and proven solutions for manufacturing businesses which are universally applicable, can be adapted to the client’s needs, or are developed from scratch.

We are the customer!

The great thing is that many businesses have been 4EF customers since the beginning. The customer turn-over rate is minimal. 4EF’s strength lies in ‘thinking business’ together with the customer, as the three owners call it: ‘We don’t work for the customer; we are the customer.’ Going in-depth into your customer’s business, or rather into your customer’s clients, makes all the difference. Every job is completed on time and the product does what it needs to do or more. Customers appreciate this. This is the reason why more and more manufacturing businesses from around the country and abroad hire 4EF for their automation needs.

Social enterprise

4EF is a healthy business both in terms of results and employees. This is not always self-evident. 4EF works hard to achieve this and feels it’s important to give back to the community. This is what we call social enterprise. We do this by offering people who are further removed from the labour market opportunities to develop their talents.

Export

Through their excellent work in the Dutch market, their international reputation in the QAD market and the fact that 4EF is a highly active partner on the Smartsheet platform, the amount of work from abroad has grown. The first jobs came in from international sister companies of Dutch businesses. More recently, other businesses abroad have found their way to 4EF.
