Rental of camping tents
The story of CampSolutions started in 2008 with an army truck and four military tents. Wouter Leuven started his own business alongside his job at the time together with his brother, Mark Leuven, and two friends. Business was booming during the summer months, but the business had to get creative to make it through the autumn and winter months! They decided to start manufacturing and selling their own tents. They produced an entire tent camp for the Apenheul in Apeldoorn.
The focus on festivals caused a breakthrough in 2015 when they were allowed to design and execute their own concept for Mojo’s Down the Rabbit Hole festival, complete with various tent designs, a webshop and ticketsales. The director of Lowlands, another festival organised by Mojo, immediately asked if they wanted to do the same for Lowlands that same year. One thing led to another and before they knew it, they were also working for other festivals such as Parookaville in Germany and Rock Werchter in Belgium. These opportunities paved the way for the future.
In 2018, they suddenly became the largest global provider of temporary sleeping accommodations, after acquiring G3 Presents from bankruptcy in both the Netherlands and England. With over 5,000 tents and 8,000 beds, they were able to construct enormous festival glampsites. From that moment onwards, international festivals also knew where to find CampSolutions, including festivals such as Sziget in Budapest and Tomorrowland in Belgium. They are proud of the fact that our customer base includes the top 15 largest festivals in Europe. This makes them the European market leader in the field. For a festival such as Lowlands, they install 2,300 fully furnished tents in two weeks. No one else in Europe can achieve something like this. In those situations, their 20 full-time employees are supplied with a large flexible team of contractors.
They want to surpass expectations and create the wow-effect. A new development is their original pop-up hotel concept. This allows organisers to offer luxury accommodations for guests. These hotels can even be built to include several floors, full sanitary facilities, Wi-Fi access and a TV.
What makes CampSolutions unique is that many of their tents are designed and produced in-house. They have their own wood workshop. In 2020, they established sister company Glamping Structures. From there, luxury tents, lodges and cabins are designed and sold throughout Europe and beyond.
Because of their steady growth CampSolutions moved in 2021 to a much larger space in Twello. From there, the business focuses on continued expansion in Europe.
