Filters

Filmoor is specialised in many types of filters and sieve meshes:
– Filters that are used in the food industry, (petro) chemistry and the pharmaceutical industry.
– Filters that have been developed made of woven (sieve) mesh in stainless steel and polyester, of polyamide, polyamide, polypropylene and polyester needle felt.
– Filters and sieves made of perforated board and stainless steel hand sieves.

Johan Veentjer (director) talks about his company Filmoor. He knows with precision which filter is most suited for which use. From 1993, he has been active in the filter industry and has worked for several different companies before he started his own company in 2000.
Veentjer: “Because of all the knowledge of the past years, we are very innovative. The developments in the food and chemical industry are moving fast. We are therefore performing several different tests with multiple partners to research new possibilities for the use of the filters and sieves.”

Filters
The filter products by Filmoor are diverse. Compositions of stainless steel and polyester are options. Stainless steel filters that are used for the separation of gas, oil and/or water in the petro chemistry, in the food industry when separating potato flour and water, in agriculture when separating fertiliser and moisture. Filters in many shapes, from drums to pleated filters, with the aim to generate a better product, innovations to make the right separation in the materials.

Mesh sieves
It is wonderful to see, the meshed woven stainless steel threads. ‘Dutchplane’ is a weaving method that was used in the 17th century for the sails of large seagoing ships. This weaving method is popular for filtration by using steel meshes with a sieving density up to 5 µm (micro meter mesh width).
In addition to stainless steel, filters and sieves of polyester woven mesh and also non-woven polyester and other plastics in white and blue are delivered to the food industry and pharmacy.
