Window covering supplier
JEWEL Railsystems & Lightcontrol
Window covering supplier
Since 1998, JEWEL Railsystems & Lightcontrol has been active as a supplier of window treatment products for the project-based market. Their assortment includes products such as: rail systems, indoor and outdoor shades and blinds, window films, curtain fabrics, net curtain fabrics and technical fabrics. These products are sold across the Netherlands and abroad under their own brand name in partnership with professional project managers. 13 full-time employees work at Jewel, with a large, flexible workforce to support them.
The products are mostly implemented in the healthcare sector in hospitals, nursing homes, elderly care homes and in building engineering services for offices, schools and public buildings. JEWEL takes care of the entire customer journey from start to finish. This starts with the project designs and advice on the use of various products. Their assortment is both extensive and specialised. In fact, JEWEL can supply anything that you can possibly think of regarding window treatments. This also applies to the fabrics; every design or type of fabric can be supplied. If you’re looking for extra fire-retardant or antibacterial materials, JEWEL can supply it for you. After our project advisors measure out the window surface area to be treated, the window dressings are made and delivered to order by JEWEL or through specialised partner businesses. Their in-house assembly team ensures that assembly is carried out on location.
Market leader in healthcare
JEWEL has developed a unique position in the healthcare sector. They are the market leader for the delivery of rail systems and accompanying antibacterial fabrics to hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare institutions. These are often used to create privacy around hospital beds. A relatively new product group in their range is recycled fabrics, and products where the plastic is entirely made from plastic bottles.
Unique partnerships with project managers
JEWEL values close collaboration with professional project managers, of which the Netherlands has around 400. JEWEL works closely with about 40% of this group. This concerns both the commercial aspect, where everything is organised via the project managers, and the execution. They have close working partnerships with their customers, one of the reasons why JEWEL doesn’t have to actively acquire new customers. Through absolute customer focus and investing in relationships, JEWEL expects to grow with their customers to realise double-figure growth.
