KroeseWevers advises businesses on matters of accountancy, tax consultancy and other financial business issues. With more than 300 accountants, tax specialists and consultants, KroeseWevers is an organisation with a unique mix of people and expertise in the financial services sector. KroeseWevers is located in the northern and eastern parts of the Netherlands and has offices in Almelo, Deventer, Doetinchem, Emmen, Enschede, Oldenzaal, Raalte and Zwolle. The Deventer office has 35 employees, making it the largest accountancy firm in Deventer.

Nexia International

To meet the boundless ambitions and needs of their clients, KroeserWevers is a member of Nexia International. Nexia International is a global network of approximately 250 independent financial service firms in over 115 countries. Nexia is one of the ten largest international networks within the financial services sector.

Nexia partners meet up three to four times each year to exchange knowledge and networks.

Through this network, KroeseWever clients are guaranteed adequate support in the realisation of their international ambitions. Peter van der Sluis (VAT-specialist) has this to say about Nexia: ‘Through the Nexia International network, we can offer the same expertise as the more traditional larger firms. Our advantage is that we have closer ties to the small-to-medium businesses, and we are regionally located which means that we speak the same language.’

Accountant René Frazer about the Nexia network: ‘The great thing about it is that we can advise our current and future clients more fully via the Nexia network. On the other hand, we also receive requests through the network from international offices to help consult on Dutch accountancy and tax issues.’

German Desk

Due to an increasing demand for consultancy regarding business activities in Germany, KroeseWevers has set up its own German Desk. This is a joint venture in which Dutch and German consultants work together. In addition to regulation and fiscal legislation, attention is also given to traditions and values on both sides of the border. This makes the KroeseWever approach powerful and successful.

Growth

Both René and Peter have seen a sharp increase in the international activities of KroeseWevers’ clients in recent years. The German Desk and the Nexia International network are becoming increasingly important. This strong growth is expected to continue in the years ahead.
