Interior architects

Linda Pol is classically schooled as an interior architect at the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design in Kampen. For many years, she worked for a Dutch interior architecture firm on many national and international projects. Since 2011, she has worked independently under her own name: Studio Linda Pol. She currently works with a small team in Wilp on local and international projects.

From her design studio in Wilp, Linda Pol designs interiors for both the private and commercial markets. The studio operates on a small scale and with a personal approach. With each project, a new concept is designed with the client’s wishes in mind, but always with the intent of creating an entirely new and surprising perspective. Linda likes to make bold statements in her interiors. She gives spaces a unique identity and elegance with daring colour and material combinations. Her style is high-end, luxurious, rich in contrast and with an eye for detail.

Linda Pol likes to get involved before the construction phase to get the most out of a space. She draws up complete proposals that include conceptual designs, spatial impressions, technical drawings, lighting plans, 3D animations, colour and material suggestions and styling. Depending on the requirements of the project, she assembles a team with professionals from different disciplines. Linda: ‘I like to immerse myself in the customer’s story and wishes and translate this into striking designs. Often, the result is not what they asked for; the challenge lies in surpassing the customer’s own expectations.’

That surpassing of expectations has proven itself. Since the start of her business, Linda has never been without commissions. They vary from homes throughout the Netherlands and sometimes abroad to hospitality projects such as restaurants, hotels, and wellness resorts. For instance, for Quality Wellness resorts, she designed various interiors for the Wellness group’s four locations. Her latest job was the interior design of one of the largest resorts in the Netherlands: Thermen Berendonck. With Arabian Nights as a central theme, the studio designed interiors for all the areas in the complex.

Linda and her team’s strength lies not only in working out the design together with the customer but also during the implementation. With her many years of experience with an interior construction company, she knows exactly how her designs can be executed to the highest standards. This is important when it comes to implementing her designs. Therefore, it is no surprise that customers hire her to guide the realisation process through to completion.
