Refrigerated and frozen transport

LogistiCCare

Refrigerated and frozen transport

LogistiCCare is a Twello-based company specialising in chilled and frozen logistics.

In 1999, Martin and Anne-Marie Bronsvoort set up the business with their many years of logistics experience and expertise in customs transactions. One of their most important tasks involved arranging national and international transports as a third party.

LogistiCCare was one of the first companies in the Netherlands at the time to have a delivery van built that could transport frozen products at -30°C. With this van, medicine could be transported to hospitals in Northern and Western Europe.

‘By seeing the van on the road and through offering its services through our network, new customers soon started coming in, and the company developed over the years into an all-round family business. The focus has shifted to providing customised complete logistics solutions for our customers. Moreover, we always have real-time temperature data available on all our vehicles.’

The company is ISO 22000:2018 certified and is an accredited work placement company.

Today, Martin’s son Marnix has taken over the daily operations side of the business from his father. Together with Anne-Marie and the staff, they continue to provide services from their new location in the Weteringstraat in Twello.

This location offers plenty of opportunity for expansion, including new activities such as providing chilled and frozen warehousing and transhipment services.

Bespoke solutions

From the beginning, the business worked with purely customised solutions with three fundamental guiding service principles: flexibility, reliability and quality.

Their regular customer base includes several large foodstuff producers from the region and companies elsewhere in the Netherlands. Their main focus lies on transport within the Benelux and Germany.

In the coming years, LogistiCCare will increasingly focus on sustainability. Besides an already modernised and clean vehicle fleet, the company is starting a pilot with an electric delivery van and solar panels on the roof.
