HANSA EXPORT AWARD
Stargard 2026
REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ENTERING THE COMPETITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL HANSA EXPORT AWARD:
The business you are entering the competition should comply with at least TWO CRITERIA to become eligible to compete:
- Export growth: demonstrate a significant increase in export volumes or revenues, or a growth in export markets compared within their own industry.
- Market access: proof of successful expansion into new international markets.
- Innovation: evidence of the introduction of innovative practices, products or services or in the export process.
- Sustainability: show commitment to SDG goals. ( link to the list of SDG goals >>)
- Resilience: overcoming challenges in the international trade landscape.
Dates & Deadlines for applications for the award in 2026:
- 31st of March: Closing date for submitting a company for the award by the Hansa cities
- 31 March- 15 April: Jury creates a longlist of 10 companies
- 15th April : Publication of the longlist. Longlist companies are requested to send in a video of max 3 minutes
- 4th May : Deadline to submit videos
- 7th May: Jury selects the shortlist of 5 companies
- 14th May: shortlist published
- 12th June: Audience vote from the 5 shortlisted companies the final winner at the Hanseatic Forum
Every member city of the Hanseatic League is entitled to enlist one company from their region to participate in the International Hansa Export Award competition.
